posted on March 7, 2023

The new edition of the Épinal-Erfurt Glossary has now reached the letter Q. This project, headed by Profs. Michael Herren (Toronto/York), David Porter (Southern University), and ✝Hans Sauer (Munich), is headquartered in Toronto. Composed in the seventh century and containing many Latin-English glosses (alongside a larger number of Latin-Latin and Greek-Latin entries), Épinal-Erfurt is one of the most important records of the earliest written stage of the English language. Please visit the website of the Épinal-Erfurt Glossary Project to consult the edition and learn more about this fascinating text.
